Free telescope viewing
What we are observing
The Moon
Who it is for
For adults, children (ages 5+), tourists, local residents, and anyone who happened to be passing by and suddenly found themselves next to a telescope. No special knowledge is needed.
How much it costs
Free.
If you enjoyed it or want to support the project, you can leave a donation (online). It helps us run more observations, develop the project, and show the sky to more people.
How to look through the telescope
- Do not touch the lenses or eyepiece with your fingers. Clean optics are the key to a beautiful image and a calm host.
- Do not grab the telescope or move it.
- Look with one eye (either one). You do not need to touch the eyepiece with your eye. It is better to cover the other eye with your hand.
- If you cannot see anything, say so.
- If the image looks out of focus, say so.
It is normal if the image does not appear immediately the first time. A telescope is not a phone screen; it needs a little more patience.
